⛏️ Mines, Workforce and Resource Extraction
Raw materials are the foundation of every production chain in WarFrontline.
Most resources begin their journey in mines. Iron, copper, aluminium and coal are extracted directly from the ground and supply factories across the nation. These buildings are simple to operate, but they still require careful planning.
All mines depend on workers to function.
Workers, in turn, need food and water — without these basic resources, production will stop completely. This makes population support and civilian supply just as important as industrial expansion.
Managers are optional, but they unlock auto-production mode, allowing mines and facilities to operate continuously without manual input. Investing in managers improves efficiency, but also increases long-term costs, creating another strategic decision for the player.
The oil well is a special case. Unlike other extraction buildings, it requires mechanical parts to be constructed, reflecting its higher technical complexity. Oil production plays a critical role later in the game, especially for fuel and advanced military operations, making early preparation essential.
With these systems, resource extraction becomes more than a background mechanic. Players must balance workforce needs, civilian supplies and industrial priorities to keep their economy running smoothly.
In WarFrontline, even the strongest factories depend on what comes out of the ground first.
